Skateboarding Documentary from Nicholas Leonard on Vimeo.

This is a video I did of a skateboard park in Thomasville, NC. This was my first video so there was a lot to learn. We were assigned to capture an interview of people at a public place they like to hang out.

Macro Bee

These are just some macro shots I did of a Bee I captured. This shoot was fun, yet challenging. I took some creative liberties with the last one to make it look like it was moving.

New Threads

These are shots I took for macro class. I just love how close I got in with the lens. This was a 55mm macro reverse mounted onto the macro bellows. I don't know the magnification but if I had to guess I would believe it to be something around 10x magnification.

Finger prick

This is my buddy Landon's finger on a needle. Thought it was a cool shot.

Water and Life

This is another shot I took with a reversed 55mm macro lens. I thought it was cool that the water drop was in focus and the plant itself was not.

Macro Moth

This is a shot I took with a 55mm macro lens that was reversed mounted on the camera. This causes a much large ration than a 1:1. I have yet to figure out the exact magnification because of the complicated formulas.

Oil Bubbles

This is a shot of oil bubbles I did for a macro shot. I will post a lot more bubble shots soon as a new project. Let me know what you think.

1:1-1:10 Macro shots

These are two shots from a macro assignment we had. Of course this is Mr. Wuf from NC State. These are part of a 1:1-1:10 assignment playing with macro ratios and learning the lens'.

Playing with Macro

D700, ISO 800, F8 @ 1/50th, 55mm macro, 1:1

This is a shot of a real Porsche logo on the hood of a 2004 Porsche Boxster. I was just figuring out the lens and its limits.

Upcoming Changes

I have just started a macro photography and a digital media class so hopefully you will soon see some good macro shots and videos. I am almost finished with school. I will be going on internship to Carolina Eye Associates in Southern Pines for several months. I look forward to the new changes and opportunities I will experience.
